Both mercs were punished. Ham gt a 10 sec penalty but raced hard to recover last race. Silverstone was both of thier issue. DIVA spices team went of track in turn 1 to defend. Wheel banged in wellington straight. Then DIVA went faster through copse, then qualy as data shows.
Today botas caused a crash and got punished. DIVA spice engines are ok. They are just moaning for now to put pressure on FIA. They want rules changed. DIVA has ovs gone over the cost cap limit.
If this happened between williams and alfa no one would care.
Diva spice team last year got the rules changed knowing thier high rake car would be at a advantage.

Sad but in the regulations. The identical thing happened to both VET and HAM back in 2012. Gutted for AM and VET. I bet they took a chance on safety cars which always happen in Hungary and short-fueled the car. It just didn't work out. This is on the strategy director and Otmar.

The DQ is on the pit wall - they should have been monitoring the levels relaying info to VET. Really unfortunate as VET had one hell of a race.

Stopping where he did wouldn't have been close to saving enough fuel. Damn, gutted for Seb.

It's a shame they don't test by the weight of the leftover fuel vs the liter since that's how they measure overall fuel load. Nitpicking for sure, just bummed that Seb doesn't get his earned results.

It's a shame because it looks like he's the only one trying while in the #2 seat - Stroll has been a massive disappointment and it is looking like last years performance is a direct result of being in a "Pink Mercedes" rather than driver.
