That wasn't a foul. Even pop said it wasn't. Lakers played harder than the Spurs the whole game, and for the ref to decide the game on that play, it would of been stupid. Now, if Barry leaned in to draw the foul, instead of trying to avoid the contact from Fisher by dribbling away from him, it would of been a foul.

You know, I think it was really bad officiating. Stu Lantz brought up a good point about the game. Kobe being the MVP took 29 shots and never went to the line at all?? There was a point when Duncan was on Kobe and he drove to the basket and apparently got fouled and no call. At times, San Antonio were getting bad calls too and vice versa. It's like the officials were going back and forth trying to "make-up" for the previous bad calls on both teams.
 Good game though that's for sure. |
