Going to have our hands full with the Oilers who got the best of us this season. Normally, I have always liked playing a team like that, but I think they have the edge which is magnified by the injuries we have.

They did, although most teams who win the pres don't get the cup.

However, no team has won three Presidents' Trophies and have gone without a Cup.

I don't know what the Capitals passed out to their fans last night...but watching that game with that fucking high pitched cow bell sound was most annoying. They deserved to lose on that alone. Haven't been that annoyed watching a game since those stupid vuvuzayla horns in the South African World Cup soccer games.

Man, the young, feisty Leafs do again to the Caps! Perennial chokers. That was an awesome game. Will be a tough task for Toronto to win the series, but they are giving the Caps a run.

Pittsburgh Penguins doing very brilliant and Marc Andre Fleury tied the most wins in Play Off for Penguins history with 58 wins .
I didn't watch the game but 5-4 win sounds very hectic game .Pittsburgh Penguins now leads the series over Columbus Blue Jackets 3-0

I expected New York Rangers to lead 2-1 against Montreal Canadiens at the end of the 3 game spot but it turned out to be a stark contrast .
I think 2nd game's 3rd period seal the deal it was a momentum changer because New York Rangers could have won the game making the series 2-0 but instead we got 1-1

Toronto Maple Leafs games are not for faint hearted as I said before, their games are anything but boring . Washington Capitals had hard moments in the games even they won against Toronto Maple Leafs but it's not an easy task to send the best team of the regular season off the lot .

Edmonton Oilers defeated San Jose Sharks 4-3 in overtime trailing 3-1 to carry the game to overtime 3-3 . What a resilient team given their embarrassing lost in penultimate game 7-0 and to spice things up they were behind 3-1 but kept composure and played well

Sharks looked flat out slow in OT--they were playing to not lose, but that does not work in OT where you have to play to win and get a goal like the Oilers did.

Little taken back by Edmonton/Jose series. I wouldn't have expected that at all. I see this going 7 though.

I also think Washington now has their shit worked out. Wouldn't surprise me a bit if they won it in 6. Pens will be waiting for them...hopefully getting healthy.

What do you mean by that? Do you think the Sharks would have had an easier time with the Oilers? While you always hope your team takes over...Aka Nashville...the Oilers led the group for part of the season and finished higher than the Sharks, so the reality is, is that the Sharks are the underdog here.

It was a good game may be not in terms of number of goals that we had seen in previous games but it was not a dull game in its own right considering another overtime game at all

Ottowa Senators lost against Boston Bruins at home in overtime 4-3 . Still, Senators keep the advantage in the Series 3- -2 .It was a great comeback by Boston Bruins as they trailed 2-0

Blues won against Minnesota Wild in overtime 4-3 thus they advanced to next round ending the series 4-1 .Minnesota Wild trailed 2-0 and then came back 3-1 to 3-3 but it was not enough for them to win overall

Experience is everything...especially when the game gets faster - smarter.

Outside of Lucic, Letestu and maybe a couple others, I don't even know if they have as many playoff games as what one Sharkie had last year alone. You can call them underdogs all you like, if the Sharks don't win this series, it's a major letdown.

At what point do we start looking at 'hot sauce' Boudreau as being the goat here...coaching his third team to a pretty good playoff position, only to be taken out in round 1.

As for the Canadians. Price is the most, check that, absolute most - bar none, over rated goalie on the face of this planet. Sure, he can take Team Canada to a championship because of all the folks around him...until he takes his Montreal team somewhere, people need to stop putting this guy on a pedestal. And how's that Therrien firing now? If Buffalo had any brains...they'd sign this guy now.
