Ok to mention a vendor in a post?

I am about to post a new thread regarding new wheels and wanted to know if it was ok to mention where I pick it up from. I did notice on another thread what someone had starred out the name.

I should add the vendor is a paid advertiser in the commercial sales section.

Uh we all buy stuff and mention who it's from. Vendor on here or not.

Yeah, there is only one vendor who is not allowed to be mentioned on the forum. It starts with M. Second word starts with B.

Yes, it is allowed. Maybe you want to post your comments in the vendor feedback section.
