Lol I said the same thing about the new 1-series. Definitely see the Angry Birds pig in these cars.

Not sure what this is.

The car seems both stylistically and mechanically phoned in.

Bmw invested a billion dollars in the development of the e46 which became an icon.

This seems like minimal development, a recycled mini, with a lot of badges. More badges.

How Mercedes is pioneering in this segment and BMW is not is beyond me. Truly backwards times we live in
Merc stayed true to their cause, create the most luxurious product. BMW seem to lost their sense of their cause chasing dollars. We're all basically witnessing an attempt of BMW trying to play catch up to Merc, and their losing a little bit of themselves every step of the way.

Come on BMW, I know you wanted to play in the FWD market but you can do better than that.. Im not saying that the Mazda 3
is the complete package but the Audi S3 & CLA are leaps ahead of this ( atleast the pics until we see in person ).

The FWD proportions kill it....
I like the interior of the 2GC better.

I would rather gallop through the streets with a horse than drive this car.

This vehicle is undoubtedly a result of a debate where marketing arguments - market share gains, profitability targets - won the debate. The only question is whether potential consumers will support these arguments.

Personally, my perspective on M235i GC remains entirely neutral.

How have they managed to make 19" wheel on a compact car look so small?

I'm thinking the same thing! And some this is just wrong with the arse on this thing! Looks tall and GT like - didn't they just kill the GT because it didn't sell?

Needs a Kia badge. The worst BMW I've ever seen.

Looks like a kit bashed STI and a Civic Si. I'm sure they will sell plenty.

I must admit that this performance version looks more bearable than its lesser trims.

The kidney grille is the one good thing about this car. Otherwise it's chunky, weirdly proportioned and has a horrible diaper.

I was expecting that real street pics would look better than the launch ones. Totally NOT, their is really no angle on this monstrosity that looks some what ok, to me. All of a sudden, I prefer the Hyundai i30 fastback.

2GC have quite a bit "feature" for an entry level BMW, I think it will sale world wide, maybe not US (but sedan in US in general is not going to do well anyway, and US has a stronger preference for larger size/more hp etc.)
