Swap 1m/m3 steering powertrain?

Hi guys! I dont like too much the feel of the steering on my 35i and im think to swap it to the 1m/m3 (i think that is the same). I know that one is electric and other hydraulic and i dont know if it is a possible mod or im i crazy.. any opinions?

Regards!

I swapped over to E9x M3 control arms, and went to a solid spherical bearing for the tension strut from AKG Motorsport, though there are other choices (I think Turner has a sealed ball joint version). I DID NOT go with the rubber M3 unit for this. I also installed a Luxon strut bar. I'm happy with my steering and I believe the the tension strut helped improve feedback. Food for thought.
