S35 Changing to aftermarket suspension
toyinh with the idea of changing to aftermarket suspension from the factory M-adapative.
The pro is I could further lowered the ride. Cons would be without the button features when switch to sports or sports+ ?? Consideration, how does the ride feels like for those whom have changed to aftermarket suspension say KWV3 or others ? any input is much appreciated. |

Adaptive M suspension have the electronic control of the damper
if you just change the springs, the control still will be the same most lowering springs need to have a thicker guage wire to compensate the height and legth of the spring With this KW springs , I feel the ride is just a little bit firmer than stock,

It can adjust the firmness of the damper by a switch in the cabin, BUT The M-adaptive damper works differently: not only the damper is adjustable, but it also "sense" the damper forces and adjust automatically, (someone please correct me if I am wrong) That's why they called "ADAPTIVE"

The basic electrically adjustable dampers will only change the firmness of the damping force based on the switch setting. So, if you set the switch to say "Firm" the dampers get harder and stay that way until the setting is changed. If set to "soft", same thing. Adaptive M Suspension works with sensors and the cars ECU to not only adjust the the firmness of the damping force based on the switch setting, but they also independently vary damper firmness setting dynamically as you drive. So, working with the on-board computer the dampers, steering and transmission shifting all change according to the Sport setting. |

"Zentra"
You have the M-adaptive suspension, That's the best you can get in this world. Keep that damper and forget the aftermarket damper
