Wastegate Rattle

Does anyone know if the later model E89s are covered under the same Turbocharger warranty provided to the 335 N54s? From what I know the wastegate is really a soft spot on this motor and BMW was forced to offer an 8 year 80,000 mile warranty for the 335s up to 2010.

I have a 2012 and I don't think the turbo is any different from the early 335s. Only 57,000 miles but I've recently started to back into my garage with brick walls and I'm able to hear all types of "new" noises. Can't hear anything while driving or at a steady idle, just a little rattle when I blip the throttle in the garage. Mechanically, totally stock car.

How many of the 2011 through 2016 N54 E89s have had issues with the wastegates?
