The Squad

Honestly, I don't know what to say about these women, except - are they sane? Serious? Sometimes I wonder if they are on Trumps payroll. They will get him re-elected....

Luckily the Republicans have an answer........The Freedom Caucus. Especially Jordan, Collins. Gohmert, and Gaetz. Though closer to our ideologies than the "squad", they are dedicated to gumming up how the government works (they refuse to work on bi-partisan solutions in MANY areas) and forward Trumps lies about Russia and the 2016 campaign. They did lose one of their own recently (Amash, a co-founder). I'm embarrassed that 4 of these jokers are from Texas.

And though not a part of the caucus, Nunes also gets a special mention as an idiot.

I'll go so far and say that Omar and Tlaib seem anti-American. They go against what it means to be American. AOC is simply an idiot. Pressley seems bad, but I really don't know enough about her.

Trump has managed to get the Democrats to defend these people, and embrace them, thus defining them as mainstream to the Democratic Party. It came up in the debate last night again (I think it was Beto). So instead of being the fringe weirdo anti-American socialists, they are front and center and have party support.

Makes a great foil for Trump and other Rs to run against.

Why did the Dems fall for that - do they think it helps unify the country against Trump?

Please provide some examples of the Freedom Caucus' stupidity. They support smaller government and constitutional principles, are those ideas you find stupid? As far as "gumming up how the government works" you do realise that was the intent of our founding fathers. Our government is designed to be difficult to make laws, as our founding fathers knew that laws would be passed to expand government control an steal liberties from the people. As far as bipartisan, how do you compromise with a radical. If one side want to rob and murder to further their ideals, what is the bipartisan solution? Just rob a few and kill a couple? Bipartisanship is inherently good.

I am not saying all of the freedom caucus is infallible, but comparing them to the socialist, anti and anti semtic radicals in "the squad" is way off base.

They've become as toxic, if not more so, then the squad. I expect better from the Republican Party. They've (The freedom caucus) been in the forefront of propagating trumps lies. So much so, that Justin Amish quit. Also, they've gone from being a tea party derivative, which I would fully support, to simply being obstructionist.

John Boener summed them up succinctly:
"They can't tell you what they're for. They can tell you everything they're against. They're anarchists. They want total chaos. Tear it all down and start over. That's where their mindset is."

Rejection of American Health Care Act in 2017
On March 24, 2017, the American Health Care Act (AHCA), the House Republican bill to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act, was withdrawn by Republican House speaker Paul Ryan because it lacked the votes to pass, due in large part to opposition from Freedom Caucus Republicans

Here's where I stand on the whole Omar, Tlaib, Netanyahu, and Trump on their barment from visiting Israeli:

They're all idiots

No glory had been achieved by any of these players.

Thank you for your time!

Justin Amash is a rino at best, hardly anyone the republican party, tea party or any conservative group would miss. Him leaving was a good thing.

The American Health care act was garbage legislation and should have been votted down. It was Obamacare lite, and what is needed is a full repeal of the ACA so the freemarket can work.

And for Boehner, really, that is who you qoute as if that rino has any credibility? He is a swmp creature that occasionally gets this right. You can call them obstructionist all you like, as if helping the fed pass more laws as some how nobel, they should obstruct the garbage being put forth by congress these days.

I am still waiting for an example of some thing so toxic that the freedom caucas has done that it compares to the vile hatred spewed by "the squad".

Rino......really? The biggest "rino" we have now is Trump. Govt. spending, foreign policy, lying......trump does not represent republican values. And the Freedom Caucus, what are they doing to make America better? In the words of Ronald Reagan, "politicians should be working hard to make government work better for Americans".
The freedom caucus was all for shutting down the federal government in 2013 over Obamacare. Yet they had no way of repealing it. They were simply obstructionist. Amish follows Ted Poe and Reid Ribble in rejecting freedom caucus extremism. None of those guys are "rinos".

Yes, Trump is a true rino. He ran on the Republican ticket but is not a politician, he is a pragmatic business man. For gov spending, the Pres only signs off what is presented to him by congress, spending bills start in the house. For foreign policy he is the best President we have had in a long time. He is calling out the bad actors around the world that previous administrations had ben way too soft on, China is a prime example. As for lying, i am sure he has said some things that turned out not to be true, but he has kept more campaign promisses than the last 3 presidents combined. He hasn't had the outrightt, bold faced lie of "if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor" like some one else did (and the media tried to cover for).I

Amash didnt just leave the freedom caucas, he left the Republican party, and has been spouting dem talking points, but i am sure he is no rino. That sounds like a true conservative to me.

As for shutting down the federal gov., GOOD! A shut down is not a real shut down, they shut down maybe 25% at most, and people act like it is the end of the world. the left and the media use it as a weapon against anyone who would dare to reign in gov., while lying to the American people about what is happening. There is far too much waste and bloat in the federal gov, shutting it down hardly effects anyone, unless (like someone i wont mention) you spend resources not normaly needed or used to restrict public access to public place out of spite.

So we have established you dont agree with the freedom caucas, which is fine, not everyone will. What i still havent heard is anything they have said that compares to the anti semetic, racist, and anti remarks made by members of the squad.
