Which new car has you excited?

Is there any new or upcoming car that has you really excited?

I'm drawing a blank and see this as mostly a transition phase where gas cars that are coming out are pretty much stale and the new electric cars that are coming out seem too over the top looking more like concept cars with huge screens running across the dash or no mechanical buttons. Then there is Tesla too which seems pretty boring to me too with its boring interior and giant tablet screen.

Also, all the big manufacturers are pushing SUVs and crossovers which doesn't seem too exciting to me. However, I can kind of get with it if its an electric one with the center of gravity being lower with the battery pack being on the floor. That way you get some of the handling and stability of a car with the space of a crossover.

I like the new 400Z from what I'm reading.

The new Z and that Yaris GR-based Corolla for sure. Then, to a lesser extent, the G87 M2. Mainly because I'm more interested in the LCI than I am the pre-LCI.

Talks of the new M2 suggests a reasonably conservative looking grill

Maybe the 400Z & the M2, but even then kinda meh. I'll still wait a couple of years after they debut to even consider buying one.

Tesla Plaid coming out next week, its gonna hurt ALOT of feelings on the street lol.

Toyota 86 looks nice, but i think it'll just be more of the same. I do want to see one in person though as i think it looks way better than the supra or 400z.

Awaiting news/pics on the GR Corolla.

Waiting to see some reviews on the IS500. Hopefully they've improved the 8 speed trans and made it handle well. The RCF was a dumpster fire.

I try to get excited but the bloat and excessive tech dampens it for me.

I can dead set hand on heart say i'd take a 991 GT3 over a 992 for example.

I think the Alfa 4C will be THE future hero of the last 5 years or so, it is very unique.

I was interested in seeing what the Bronco was going to look like. Other than that I'm not excited about any newer vehicles.

Definitely a little optimistic for the new Subaru STI engine upgrade from the EJ engine.

Still a rumor and unconfirmed but the Mazda NA inline 6 RWD with a third pedal. I’d wait for the 3rd or 4th year for them to sort out any big problems and it’ll be the first car I order new and keep til it turns to dust. Not much else out there with no turbos and three pedals nowadays.

Yeah, I have to admit I was a little excited over the Bronco too when they announced it but after seeing the Sport version reviews that excitement faded a bit plus the fact that I spend 99% of road on pavement and not off road.

They did a great job really hyping it.

RAM TRX...needs no explanation

718 GT4RS...pretty sure it will be built and would like to get a build spot

RS6 Avant...buddy (friend; not my dog) got one and the want is real...just a little pricey, like the others above!

I forgot about the inline 6 Mazda6 (or whatever they are changing the name to). Looking forward to seeing that engine.

Looking for a new midsized truck, and the Tacoma would be my obvious choice but the drivetrain in that truck Blows. Specifically the transmission gearing and software.

Bronco, especially if they free up the manual with the bigger motor.
Oddly, the Ionic 6.
