Pics of my new Lexus (Lots of pics)

Picked up this 2021 LC500 last month and finally got around for some photos this weekend. Will do a write up comparison to my other cars soon. The build quality on this is amazing.

Wow, beautiful car...congrats! I have seen a few reviews and they are all super positive, especially that V8 roar. Enjoy!

Gorgeous car. My wife is a Lexus fanatic. If this landed in our driveway she would lose her shit.

One day.....

Congratz, weird emotion for me, I don't like it much yet it's incredibly stunning.
every other photo I think wow!!! then others nahyeah... ok. the 3 closeups showing attention to detail tho shows the workmanship and tells a story I applaud. I just can't tell I enjoy the story. this crop shows 9+ contrasting materials it's truly art and see why it's a great purchase, prob not art I'd buy. I may change my mind if I seek out the designers thoughts or marketing's selling of the sizzle.

I saw one of these in the flesh and really liked it. Then i saw the price point and thought, damn, why wouldn't i just go 911?

Grand tourer vs. sports car.

I think the closest competitor is gonna be something like an Aston Martin vantage, E class coupe, 840i coupe, etc.

I think it's a very good price point for what you're getting but it really isn't a track car.

I really like the butterfly front. It really draws the peripheral of your vision down the length of the car even when dead on from the front.

I've only seen one in real life, black exterior. There's some serious street presence.

I go back and forth on dumping my F80 for one every day.

Pros: its basically an aston martin DBS for a fraction of the money. V8 noises. killer looks. lexus reliability. good resale. good transmission.
Cons: 4000+ pounds and 13 second 1/4 mile.

Outstanding combination of White/Red interior ... that combination simply pops!

Looks dope. The projector lenses in the headlight assembly looks like jewelry.

Do they no longer offer this car in structural blue?

Gorgeous car, but even for a grand tourer, I find the V8 underwhelming. I mean, why pay $100k+ for a V8 that doesn't even make 500hp?

Because outright speed and shedding tenths of a second is not the key factor in making a great GT car.

The interior, the overall design, the sound...they all matter more in regards to how a car makes you feel. And Lexus nailed these.

If you want a faster car, buy a faster car. If you want an excellent convertible, this one at this price, it's a solid choice.

for me its the instant throttle response and sound. pretty much any turbo car under 100k can't match that regardless of what mods you do.

there are very few cars that receive glowing reviews from every journalist / youtube reviewer that drives it. The lc500 is one of them.

Yeah TBH if you can use 500 vs 450hp on the street you're kidding.

It's still available as far as I can tell.

THIS. If I only have one car and favor speed and performance above all else, I would not have picked the LC over, say, a 911. However, as a second, third or fourth car in the garage, it does extremely well with it's intended purpose (grand tourer) and makes perfect compliment to something more hard edge.
