A gentlemen's agreement that is fashioned to be fair for only the first two drivers in the field? WTF is wrong with the way people think? Truly, the definition of gentlemen has been lost.

They all agreed to it...and the World Title was at stake so the top two get the priority for the shoot out, sorry about Sainz having back markers but he wasn't in the final.

This is a ridiculous comment. So fair treatment only counts for some of the participants but not all? No wonder so many others find F1 lacking integrity. If we paint a different scenario that has your favorite driver in 3rd place and for argument's sake let's say he only needs a 2nd place finish for the championship. You'd be fine with Masi' decision to lock him out because there wasn't enough time. Now I understand where you're coming from...and what a strange place that must be.

It's a cruel world I'm afraid but that's how it was, Masi did the right thing to balance things out for the conclusion between the two title protagonists.

It already looks like 'the board' will decide that Mikey had too much pressure for a lone Director and there actually is not a right or wrong answer under the circumstances that's why I've already mentioned there could be a director with a sub advisor.
I read somewhere that Felipe Massa would be taking over from the departed Romain Grosjean as director of the GPDA with new rethinking there so he would likely be involved if such a situation would arise again.
