No, I drove that Porsche Cayman S you see in the back ground. Man I do miss that flat 6 but the NA V8 is making up for it!

i can't even begin to explain how excited I was in June 2014 as I drove my 135 to a dealership to trade it in for my 1M. As I pulled into the dealer, I saw it sitting there and it just felt SO surreal that I was going to own a 1M.

To be fair, even after 8 years and now crossed over 100,000 miles and raising a 7yo child in as our family car—it still feels magical to have this car. Still nothing else I want.

Fun memories of June 2021. Got this just before all the crazy “market adjustment” nonsense. Dealer called me and said my custom ordered M2 C was there and they could deliver it within a couple of hours. Problem was, it was raining with crazy high winds. Trees were snapping and there was a chance of hail. Then, later in the day, the sun sneaks out a bit and the weather calms down. Eye of the storm kind of thing. So I call the dealer and say if you can have it ready to go now I’ll collect it and get in my garage asap before the weather gets nasty again. Made it a fun little low speed rally race to get home without having any tree limbs paying me a roof top visit!!
