My wife often asks me "what are you doing to that car now?" or words to that effect....also a few people have asked me "what mods have you done to your Zed?"

Today was a long wet and windy day..so I thought I'd try and remember some of the things that I've done to this "Yellow Peril"

For other reasons…upcoming audio controller for DSP/amp so needed to change the ash tray from the smokers package…so I took the 12v power socket out of the ash tray and plugged a two port usb charger hub into it and hid it under the centre trim.

Fed the cables round to the two cameras.

Disadvantage, if it is, is that it on,y works when the ignition is enabled.

Thanks. I already pulled power from the center console power other to add USBs that I installed behind the radio v for cell prone charger. I thought perhaps you were able to find some power in the OH console. I'm only installing front dash cam for now so I'll probably tap the same 12v power and run up the A pillar. Just using ignition power for now since I just want can while driving and not while parked.

That’s the only ‘easy’ power supply..AFAIK..after that it’s either spur off an existing powe line or go to the fuse box from hell underneath the glove box (in the UK) and use one of the spares…
