That's exactly what I said to my buddies. Cleveland were struggling against him. Don't think it was smart to bring back Chapman in the 9th either. The gamble paid off though.

Great win for the Cubs and their loyal fans.

Game 7 was one of the most exciting baseball games I've seen. It had everything, including a rain delay. Cleveland didn't give up; the Cubs just wanted it more I guess.

I hope the fans in Chicago party safely tonight.

Having Betances and Chapman as the 8th-9th inning combo is better than having some random dude and Betances as the 8th-9th. He was severely overused in the playoffs, though how much will he command?

When Santana came up in the 9th, I sent out a text: Kipnis walk-off.

Man, that was a nerve-wracking game, since I jumped on the Chicago bandwagon after they beat the Dodgers.
