6 foot 210 now. No idea on body fat. Would like to get to 220 but might be while or never.

210 and too fat let's say. Watching video of deads from the side have belly spill over.

Nice!!

It's been awhile since I've loaded the bar with 4 plates and some quarters. Nice work man.

Thanks brother, it felt good! 4 plates and quarters for multiple sets definitely gets some looks at the gym. Not that I care, but I notice. Hopefully all this volume work pays dividends!

So I decided to take this morning off after yesterday's workout. I feel really refreshed now as I actually got in about two hours of extra sleep, and I never do that often even when I try.

So tomorrow will be Bench. Multiple sets of 315 at 3 reps, and then EMOM sets at 275 at the end. Plus I always do Face-Pulls in between my bench sets. It really helps when setting up for the next bench set as far as retracting your scapula.

Then I have EMOM sets of incline bench presses as my Tier 2 exercise. Phone app has me doing these with 225. Then I finish with some pullover work to stretch out my ribcage, and move on to a few triceps exercises.

Gonna row this am and do arms after work at gym. Trying to minimize home workouts so get more volume in.

Good sleep is priceless! Along with a good mattress! Instrumental in rest/recovery phase!

I’m pretty sore today from past few big days. So prob Garage workout of conditioning and accessory stuff. Biceps, Hams, traps. Nothing crazy.
Happy Friday fellas!

That's very true. We bought a new mattress last year. It's a nice one, but I have never been one to typically sleep more than 5 hours at most. I have always been this way.

I have had numerous sleep studies done over the years, and everything was fine. But I wanted to be sure as I believe the lack of sleep and recovery is the first stage in a lot of health issues that people face as they get older.

My Dr. just told me that some people need more, some need less. And until it starts affecting me, I'm not taking anything for it.

I lead a pretty boring life. I don't drink, and we don't keep any kind of medication in the house. It stems from my wife having a sever allergic reaction years ago to a prescription. It turned into full blown Stevens Johnson Syndrome. If you have ever seen that on Google...the victims look like burn patients. Basically your body's immune system attacks itself. She was only able to have liquid nutrition for 3 months.

Now she is susceptible to anything as the risks are enhanced. And ~ 80% of the time, the second time you get it...it can be fatal.

You see these drug ads on TV and they say "May cause severe allergic reaction" in their disclaimer. Well that is what it is to varying degrees.

Needless to say...we don't even keep stuff like Ibuprofen in the house.

If I could just let it go and strictly eat and train for mass and not care for 6 months of year how chunky I got would help. I'm never too far out despite feeling chunky, week away from summer ready most times.

Doing better than me. When I am training for mass...I'm usually about 4-6 weeks out from looking summer ready. (IMO)

I am a naturally veiny person and when my BF gets below 10...my wife doesn't really like the way I look or so she says.

I think that’s easier for you guys in colder climates. Not sure you would do the same in a warm tropical climate. It’s tough to gain weight in hot weather, and if you do feeling fat and sweaty is nasty. Haaaaaa

That's awesome! The baby is more important anyways.

My "little girl" is getting married in two months...

We were looking through pics the other night when she was a baby...first day of school, etc...time goes by so quick.

I'm not an emotional guy...but I can guarantee that I won't be able to keep it together when it's time to walk her down the aisle.

Yeah...I'm just on the edge where we have 4 distinct seasons. So I have the last of fall and winter to cover my fatness up!

But winter doesn't last too long around here aside from the occasional "freak incident" where it hits 20's again at night like it did earlier this week.

Now it's warmed back up some....but the rain has started back. Man we have had a ton of rain already in the last 4-5 weeks.

I have a ton of mods I want to get started with on my car, but I'm working...and when I'm not working it's raining.

My son is the best thing to happen to me other then my wife, they are both worth every sacrifice I’ve had to make. It seems like she was just prego, now he’s 19months and a complete lunatic, ball of energy. He watches me train in the garage and tries to pick up weights and kettlebells...priceless!

Congrats on your daughter Rmtt, that’s a special day handing her off to get married! Let us know how it goes. Try not to cry to much...lol
