Best West Coast Burgers

So since I am practically drooling from reading how amazing their burger joints are what are your favorite west coast burger joints?

EDIT: Forgot Johnny Rockets

BTW, OP failed big time.

Sonic and A&W may have locations on the West Coast but are not native here. On the other hand, he failed to add Fat Burger and Carl's Jr. - both local LA/ SoCal chanis.

Carl's Jr has never been anything special. There are no Fat Burgers here and its been awhile since i've been to the shits (I mean southern california)

But in all seriousness I like In N out the best

Where's Tommy's?

For LA locals, there's also Hole In the Wall Burger Joint, the Counter and Father's Office.

I think the OP was thinking about the national chains rather than the smaller ones. I mean if he was to list all the joints that people like to go to, it would be a long ass poll.

Yes, add Apple Pan also ...but I thought OP was referring to larger chains instead of local joints.

BTW, my absolute favorite burger is the world is by Father's Office. It does not look or taste like any other burger you ever had and it's out of the ball park

Apple Pan is pretty good, but In N Out is the ruler. On the East Coast there's 5 Guys, which is also great. There are a few of them around LA, too.

because they're not a west coast thing, they're a nationwide chain

for that matter i don't get why mcdonald's, sonic, or A&W are on there.

My mothers first job ever was at A&W. Many people swear by their burgers to this day, although they are know where near what they were 40 years ago

There are burgers that cost like $40-150. Maybe one of them will wow you. I've always wanted to try them but that's way too expensive for one burger.

Kobe Burger or burgers made from specific types of cuts ground up into one. They are both very good
