On my way back to my place after studying with a friend, I'm sitting at this light (as seen in detail in pic) behind two other cars a good fair distance away from the chick infront of me. I was about to put the handbrake up thinking, what if someone rear ends me? And I was like, nahhh, that won't happen. 5 seconds later, BOOM. My head goes down a good ways and I'm thinking omfg, this can't be fucking real. As I bring my head back up I see the people infront of my car getting out.

[As of right now, I am the same distance away from the KIA girl infront of me as we started. However now her car is now attached to the SUV guy's rear end. And fucktard behind me.]

I get out, see the back end of my car, and yell at Jeep Grand Cherokee guy, "Wow, YOU FUCKING IDIOT!"

I immediately took his plates down. This dude starts talking and he sounds like he had been drinking. He mumbles, "Sorry, I just looked down for a second." And I'm thinking give me a fucking break you dipshit.

Back of my car was just so fucked. I walked around to the front and was surprised I had damage, because I didn't think I hit the chick in front of me. I wish I could post the pics I got from my cellphone, however the cam on it sucks ass and it was nighttime with blinking lights = complete shit pics, and on top of that I don't have the cable to hook it up to my comp.

Someone called the cops and they showed up. First cop to get there must have had bird shit for brains, seriously a fucking tool. He explained nothing, his answers/remarks were stupid, and he was just overall a dumbass with nothing to contribute there. Luckily more cops showed up and this other cop actually had a brain and he helped me out.

I watched my baby, yes I know it's only a Jetta to you guy's, but it's what I have right now and I treat it as if it were an M3, get towed away. There wasn't so much as a nick on that car. Leased it in August '08, so barely had it any time at all.

The (dumb) cop asked jeep guy if he had had anything to drink, and he said yes, cop asks him when, and he says 3 hours ago. The cop did nothing about it, I mean the guy sounds drunk, he just fucked up big time. I was surprised he didn't do a breathalyzer. Then he claimed he had insurance, but couldn't find his insurance card.

So I am supposed to leave campus next Wednesday and go back home for the summer, and then this happens. Just my fucking luck. My car will be taken from whatever lot it is in right now to VW in Houston. I am praying they total my car. The back was just horrendous. The airbags did not go off which I was surprised about. The C-pillar had quite a few kinks in it and there was also a kink in the roof. Rear bumper/Trunk/lights destroyed. Hood/Bumper looked like someone with an overbite.

Over all a real pain in the ass. Hopefully I won't be hurting when I wake up in the morning.

I had the back end of my '02 Jetta smashed as well. It was at the beginning of the semester though. I was sitting at a red light behind two cars talking to my mom on the cell. I look up in the rear view and see this white Saturn speeding towards me non-stop. I yell out F!! and got plowed. My mom said she thought I died mid-convo. I hit the woman in front of me. She hit the pizza guy, and he ran the light b/c he had no insurance. It was a 83year old man that wasnt paying attention in his Saturn wagon.

VW didnt want to total it even though the damage sounds just as bad as yours. Trust me, the car is NEVER the same after they fix it!! :-(

Man same thing happened to me when I was behind the wheel of my cousin's BRAND NEW ///M5.

It was at night and right after a big rain storm, this car in front of me stops for no reason on a road (no traffic lights or stop signs or anything) so i stopped and waited for him...5 seconds later my cousin's 2 week old M5 gets rear ended. I get out of the car and just COMPLETELY VERBALLY rape this poor 20 year old girl (I'm 20 as well). She was in some shitty chevy econocar and she never even said sorry. I honestly bitched her out for a good 20 minutes. Cop came and was a total retard...
