This is what I think of every time I see a girl wearing high waisted anything. Miss the days of low rise. Also, hate when women post photos with nothing but snapchat filters. Arnold voice "STOP IT!"

They can look good, especially if a woman has a nice body. But I guess almost anything will look good on a woman with a nice body.

If the woman has the figure to wear them, they look nice. The problem is that a lot of women (and men for that matter) don't have the scene to know what looks good on their body type. When that's the case, you're basically asking what is more offensive... a muffin top or a gunt?

I absolutely hate low waist crap on women. It makes them ugly shortening the legs and cropping the butt visually.

The same regarding men. I value comfort, functionality, practicality, looks. In that order. No point in "sits lower on the waist" I have to cope with.

Waist should "serve it's purpose" and it's where the belt should reside.

Women have been recently reported to favour long-legged men as well, by the way.

Of course you should have lower abdominals in shape. But that's another story.

a lot of chicks are wearing high yoga pants now too! it actually looks pretty good from all angles! I mean you literally can see her thong line from the front, hips and down the crack!

Depends on body type just as it does on men. Long waisted men shouldn't wear low/mid-rise pants beause it makes their legs look short.

My opinion is that we live in crazy backwards land in this day and age. If it doesn't make sense or is hideous, that's what's in. I have officially reached the age where I will be viewed as "old"

And you can throw high-waisted bikini bottoms in there too.

Part of the lure of crop-tops and bikinis is seeing the bare midriff in all its glory.

Wrapping it in a diaper-shape that looks like grandpa pants/mom jeans is just not appealing.
