z4 e89 turbos upgrade recommendation

Hello to everyone , i need your opinions on what turbo brand you recommend to upgrade my z4 35i to push atleast over 450hp or whatever might be possible without upgrading fuel pumps or use ethanols.

at the moment the car has this upgrades.

wagner evo 2 intercooler
vrsf inlets and downpipes
ftp charge pipe
No middle cats

i want to buy completly new turbos and its important that they can be used directly with vrsf intlets and vrsf downpipes and (oem lines if possible).
Also i am looking for a brand that sells in europe to avoid the customs.

ty.

First obvious choice in my opinion. Pure seems to have good reputation for reliablity... They are expensive though and i have read that their cheaper cast option isnt as high quality as their previous offerings.
And for EU people: you can buy them in EU with no extra import tax.

Last thing you want to do is change turbos twice because the ones you got failed shortly after install. Even if you got replacements through warranty its still a hassle to change them again...

It really depends on your budget. You can buy 17t turbos on ebay for less than a 1000 euros. But they can be a hit or miss kind of thing. Some have great success with them but then some fail after a few months of use.

Also as you chose wagner evo 2 for your intercooler upgrade, which is on the expensive side of all the intercooler options available, i assume you appreciate quality engineering and arent trying to do things totally on a budget.

I’ve gone with TTE550s..they now seem to be called TTE500s..I’ll fit uprated intake plumbing except I plan to keep stock airbox n filter..

I have VSRF catless downpipes plus Wagner EVO1 already fitted with Nexsys B58 coil upgrade..plan to fit walboro 450 plus uprated EKP..may not be necessary..but heh..
