New Exhaust - Decision Time
dear all,
after less than 2000 km the mods are coming... here is what i decided to do: BMW 313 Performance Wheel with Michelin PS2 235/35-19 front and 275/35-19 rear Brembo 365mm BBK for the front 3DDesign rear diffuser for quad exhaust so the dilemma is what kind of exhaust: the potential ones are: AC Schnitzer my favorite in terms of looks, i really like the oval quad tips they have Eisenman based on forum recommendations Supersprint based on previous experience also should i go for sport or race(export) versions ? any feedback, comment or recommendations are welcome. thanks guys |

Unless the roads are in good shape (I have never visited your country) you might want to rethink the 19 inch rims, I have the 313 wheels and while they look the business, they do not ride well (very harse ride) on rough roads. You might want to consider the 18" 313 wheels (with spacers) from the BMW 1 or 3 series.
I prefer the Eisenmann exhaust as it is not heavy, is really well constructed and sounds great, but then again - there are NO bad sounding z4's |

I would like to see what ghani decides to get at the end. I am using the remus axle back now and it sounds too bassy for my liking... I am looking for something more aggressive sounding.
Hopefully i can find something to replace my Remus |

235 35x19 front, 255 39 x 19 on the rear. Not allowed to change the sizes due to the German T.U.V. Rules. Both are run flats as required. However this time of year on 290 wheels with snow tires as we 70cm of snow on the groud, which is a bit rough as I only have 60 cm of ground clearance. Don't know how restrictive your M.OT. Rules are but you might be able to get some of the 18" 313 wheels from a 1 series and push them out with spacers. You still get the great 313 looks but a better size for rough roads.
