How to remove the center console panel

Greetings all,

Whats the best way to remove the center console panel (mine is veneer wood). Mine has some scratches on it from when I installed carplay and I would like to have it refinished and polished.

I know it probably pops out but would be good to know some of your techniques for those that have removed it before
