I am also in the market for a M4 coupe with manual transmission. I purchased a 2021 M240i from Fremont BMW a few years back. Their customer service was excellent. When I tried to order a 2022 M4 Coupe with manual transmission they told me there will be a $5k mark up. I contacted its manager who helped me with an issue during my M240i purchase about the ridiculous mark ups. She replied to me that she will sell a M4 coupe to me at msrp. So it pays to be a repeated customer.

I also contacted East Bay BMW. Yes, it will sell msrp, but they tag on some overprices options like: nitrogen gas for the tires, wheel locks and some others items. You need to make sure you don't get charged for that.

Now the question is how long will the wait be? Additionally, I understand the new 2023 M4 msrp will go up $3,700. I am not sure if I would be able to land a 2022 in time. I will not entertain the $3,700 price increase.

There are no more 2022 M3/4 build slots with the exception of the 50 Jahre M3 edition which is slated to be built in July.

100% you will be getting a 2023 model with the latest price increase.

My current wait time is about 8 more months (ordered 1-month ago)
