"Put the car away" Blues
It's minus 18, (0 Degrees F), its been snowing for a week and is going to continue for another week. The car will not be going out to play now until April.
F**ksheep ! I've been sorting out camera gear for two days and need to go for a blast, my pickup started tapping to the beat (with no music) and went for a checkup, hmmm, new camshaft and lifters, so I have the "Dreaded Rental" for another few days.....no Z4, no comfy pickup...and it's too f'ing cold to do anything. I think I'm depressed... On the bright side, thousands of people here will freeze their behinds off tomorrow at the Western Final (Calgary vs Saskatchewan).....brrrr ! Should be a good game...

Snow = playtime.
We finally got some snow here, but it's not cold enough here yet, so I gotta look for smaller roads for proper snow/ice conditions. DSC nannies a bit too much, if you switch it half-off. More than the one in E85 in my opinion. Of course you can always switch it off completely, but I'm not sure my wallet and/or balls are big enough for that. I tried it and almost had my ass handed to me by the car. But it's a good reality check whenever you start believing you're a great driver. |

I hear ya on the blues! We just got pounded with snow in Winnipeg. Feel bad driving this car in the winter. Plus with how much snow is on the ground, people must be scraping the underbody.

My plan is: retire next year (2011) and work in Canada in the summer then spend as much time as I can afford in Phoenix (nov-march) with my trusty Z4 at my side. After the spouse can retire in about 3 years we'll drag up and get a place on Vanc' Island, near Qualicum. Almost no winter there so the summers will be great and the winters will be OK for when I sell off the Arizona place and stay home where the medicare is free (almost free )
Just one more nasty winter to endure....... I'm going to Phx in two weeks but only for a week dammit!
