Congratulations to Italy - while my heart goes out to Germany, the Italians played well and the first goal was a masterpiece, one of the nicest goals in the game - perfect placement; nothing the German goalie could do.

In my mind I now hope that Italy winns the WC, there is no shame to lose to the team that goes on to winn it all.

With all due respect to Portugal, I refuse to respect the way the play and as result I am now rooting for Italy-France in the final.

France has earned a place in the final in a peotic sort of way - on a penalty kick granted by (yet another0 Portugese fault. lack of disclipline has sunk Portugal.

Congratulations to France, they played a perfect game.

Germany came in 3rd place and played an excellent game against Portugal. They have nothing to be ashamed of, especially since Germany hosted the World Cup with class.

Too bad they didn't have such an excellent game against Italy.

The team overachieved in any case, so I wasn't upset by the loss.

I like Germany as well, they r my runner-up team after Italy, so i had a clash in the semi-final

and i really think this is the best WC i've ever seen, great host by Germany

So they won against Portugal, they deserved it and earned it

Not jealous. It's just the unsportsmanship of players taking dives when they aren't even touched yet hold their faces like half of it was ripped off.
