I'm pretty sure , MAX is used to drive with stronger ponies in F1 .
So I think , he definitely thinks this Dark Horse is too slow

On the other hand : For us the Dark Horse is powerfull and fast. From what I can hear the V8 rumbling sounds really good !

I think this is not just some rumour but very much a potential offer (obviously this is probably with wdc bonusses over that 5year period).
AMR is of course backed by super rich saudi's and seemingly has unlimited funds outside the cost cap, judging how they got Newey, build a new state of the art factory, new state of the art windtunnel (so they're also getting things done with permits etc whereas RB has been waiting on a new tunnel for ages for local government etc to approve), they got the deal with Honda etc. etc.
They're ticking all the boxes to create a championship winning team. I mean Mercedes still is the favorite regarding engine tech, however Honda is no slouch, and Mercedes still is the one big team that hasn't solved the ground effect cars (and 2026 will still be a ground effect car albeit in a new format)..and AMR now has Newey plus a lot of other high ranking engineers from other teams.
The business side of AMR just looks very very good.

So I wouldn't be surprised that in 2026 or maybe 2027 Max indeed races for AMR. ALO is then probably retired, and it probably also depends on what Helmut Marko is doing by then (Max is obviously very deeply nested in team Marko). If he stays at RB, Max probably also stays. But if he stops by then (he's 81 now I believe) or says to Max: go!, then Max is gone.

Yeah . MAX's 1100HP Aston Martin Valkyrie ($3.6Million)! with a 402 kph topspeed is at a much higher level ..

Yeah . As far as I know , the Ferrari F40 has huge turbos.
This means the thing has a big Turbo lag (hole), but when the boost comes the power-surge is very unpredictable (!)
On the other hand : A F1 driver like Lando Norris should have know that ...
