Emissions recall campaign 16E-A04

Has anyone with a "Tuned" 6 speed manual had their vehicle re-flashed per this recall? My understanding is it is a complete vehicle update (all modules) to BMW software rev: 16-03-502. My question is did the DME ROM identifier change?

It is a software update. They had done mine couple weeks ago. I flashed back to stock before I dropped my car. I installed MHD again and everything looks fine. If MHD recognizes the DME ID for licensing purpose, it means it does not change DME ID.

Can you ask your SA to send you list of modules they updated?

I had some updated for something else and it seemed pretty easy for them to print out modules with previous and new version nbrs

From the screen I saw last week it addressed all vehicle modules . from my update in 2015 (SW rev 15-03-502) some 26 modules were diagnosed and updated as required. My original flash was SW 10-3-502. Car was 3/10 build. The SW rev that is out now is 16-03-502. I'll get a print out when it is done.

When you reflashed MHD after the software update, did it only take a few mins, or did it take ~40 mins like the first time you flash it? I'm asking, so I'll know if I have to borrow a battery charger

Took 42 minutes because I flashed back to stock completely before I went to dealer.
