Looks really good, but there seems to be a rather odd mix (IMO) of old (steering wheel) and new (Recaro seats, BBS wheels).

Nicely done video with almost a little too much self indulgence, but it's not too in your face. I don't know who brings a tea cup to a scenic overlook, I'd just bring a thermos and a camping chair. I guess the owner is going for a total experience that borders on cosplaying.

The modern touches are tasteful, there is definitely a black leather and chrome theme going on, but I like a little color in vintage cars. Looks really fun to drive!

2002 is such a beautiful car, and I dig the subtle touches!!

I think she was on an episode of Jay Leno's Garage with another 2002.

Call my a phoney but for some reason I just don't get excited over these old 2002s, E30s, etc. I can appreciate the history but they are truly ugly cars.

Yes, I believe she was. Different car, though, if I recall correctly.

Less in more. Beauty is beyond what the eye can see.

You'd have to actually drive one to even begin to understand.

That's Petrolicious for you (who by the way, does not actually produce the videos that are shared via their platform with their name on them). When Petrolicious started 5-6 years ago I was excited about a new automotive enthusiast's hub. I couldn't have been more wrong. The website has transitioned to a monetized platform which seems prioritize the sale of overpriced automotive cosplay gear above all else (gloves, artwork, coffee and watches with no real lineage).

I thought this video of Lisa's 2002 was nice, and I really enjoyed her 1600 on Jay Leno's Garage, but it's getting harder and harder to swallow Petrolicious content and their vain attempts to portray themselves purveyors of refined automotive taste.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. My first car was a E21, and I always wanted an E30, but the 2002 i've grown to appreciate more recently in the past 10 years. Perhaps is the no frills, pure driving experience aesthetic? I really fell in love after seeing this one in Malibu:

Gorgeous Tii. Is that Inka Orange?

The metallic blue wide body at Trancas ain't bad either. Cool license plate frame.

Super refreshing to see someone else mention the cosplay bit.

Who do you think shoots & edits if it's not Petrolicious? Also, I see nothing wrong with monetization. That's how these folks make a living. Bimmerpost monetizes too, whether you're aware of it or not. As a matter of fact, you can't have companies thriving if they're not able to monetize.

When it comes to lineage, you can't build one if you don't start. Playing devil's advocate here

Also the full "reproduction" from BMW back in 2006 - worth the watch:
