diverter valve mod to atmosphere

Just found out the cheap mod to vent to atmosphere with the stock DV. Apparently some 335i and 135i guys do it.

Has anyone done this with the Z4? I understand that there shouldn't be any issues since there are no MAF sensors but primary MAP sensors.

How does it sound on a Z4 with the DCT? Any problems?

Yeah it works fine. If you have the stock charge pipe, buy some new orings to seal the dv in.

Sounds like a good way to spew oil mist all over the engine bay.

This is a 335 owner style mod. Don't stoop that low with the Z4!

I have a catch can, so not much oil should go through. If there is alot of oil blow by, then your turbo seals are gone and you have bigger issues. I kept the stock hose and routed it down to the bottom anyway.

The sound it makes is worth it.
