I dropped off the M340i after work today, back to the ""american engineering""
comparing a 2010 MKS and a 2020 M340i xDrive isn't your normal comparison but a few notes:
1- cooled seats alone make the MKS a better buy
2- a bird shat on my car and it's so bad I feel bad for the bird more than the car I washed friday night
3- at lower speeds especially the MKS has better feedback even though it is more disconnected (probably because hydraulic vs EPS)
4- there's no ergonomics whatsoever in the MKS. I'm the only one who drove that car in the last year and a half, and after getting back into it I realized my left arm sits lower than my right arm
5- I need a M340i, donations accepted
6- I think I need new shocks, and definitely an alignment. There's no way a bigger, heavier car feels less smooth at the same speeds on the same highway
7- Overall the M340i is a great daily. I'd not order any of the active safety memes; today I was switching lanes and the collision assist went berserk because it thought I was too close to the car in front

I hate all the safety nanny shit in new cars. Even stuff as small as blind spot monitoring with the little orange triangle that pops up on the mirror. I drove a family member's crossover on the highway at night once, and every time that stupid thing came on it annoyed me. Like just let me drive the damn car in peace haha.

I will say that my back up alarm sensor has saved me several times from idiots driving through parking lots like they are at a drag strip.

This is why I always back in to my spot, so I have a good field of vision when trying to exit and can spot this type as well as people who seem to think they'll win against a 4300lb car (mostly cause they're looking down at their cell phone as they are walking).

In most places, work, gym, grocery store, etc. I will back in. This has been at the same gas station, every time. For whatever reason getting a full tank of gas makes these redneck boys in their jacked up trucks think they are leaving the pit.

Oh and - one thing that absolutely annoyed me and took me about 5 days to get used to with that car was the rear view camera. It moves the field of view when you're maneuvering!!

Just keep it straight so I can actually figure out what's happening...
The 360 camera feature was great to impress people though, not really useful in that sense either. In the garage it has a hard time understanding the dark 3 walls

My only problem with the blind spot detection is that the side view mirrors are now smaller and an odd shape. Uh, just because you offer blind spot protection does not mean I don't need adequate mirrors .

I do too. And Joekerr

I saw this for the first time today and laughed. I didn't know it existed.

When I was young, dumb and, full of cum... I had just met my wife. I didn't know about premature ejaculation. At the age of 15 no one had told me. I guess because none of my pals were active although they lied about being active. Anyhow, we were about to bless my new bed... and I shot out... lucky for me I had protection on. She turned around looked at me and said: "You've cum haven't you?" I somehow managed to get the magnum under my foot and stood there sheepishly saying: "No I haven't." She couldn't tell as I had wiped it off. To this day she doesn't know. I was ready to go again in 15 minutes.

I'd like to start it now. I'm trying to read and redline a 16 page contract since this morning. I have the attention span of a gnat right now, my brain is about to drip out my ears. So where am I, on BP OT.

Happy Friday, boys and girls.

So if a spouse threatens divorce because you have car parts stacked up in the living room for more than a month....are those actually legitimate grounds? Asking for a friend....
