im not planning any big mods...

but im planning on freshening up my rear suspension... and upgrading it a bit... like upgrading that big trailing arm to body bushing to balljoint and lower wishbone to trailing arm can be upgraded to balljoint aswell...

If you have any suggestions on what to upgrade and mod in the rear suspension then im all ears...

New set of Michelins for summer is also definately going to happen in the spring...

Other than that just going to enjoy the car....

I’m just going to use the power flex bushes for the trailing arm

There doesn’t appear to be much that can be done to the rear end apart from fresh bushes and the odd uprated M version.

I’m fitting adjustable rear toe plates at the same time to get the toe in and rear camber perfect..

I’d recommend the Sports Conti 7 FWIW…edges out the MP4S in almost all respects..

I'm going to get the silver part of the roll hoops wrapped with the body color (Atacama Yellow) if they can get wrap to match.

Im hoping that Michelin releases PS5S for this season... PS5 was released at the start of 2022.. february i think... and ps4 and ps4s release dates were 1 year apart from each other ... so probably theres going to be a PS5S release in the coming months... at least im hoping for it .

im sure there are better , newer design tires out there now than PS4S... PS4S is now getting to be a 6 years old design (PS4S became available for purchase in march 2017) Personally i have had bad experience with Continental tires on one of my previous cars so im kind of hesitant to switch to that brand again.

On Powerflex poly bushes... i have been thinking about just polybushing the whole rear suspension... not the track ones but the street series that was coloured black. EDIT: I meant purple not black!!

The purple powerflex is what has been recommended to me by some chassis tuning guys I now use..they state the black is strictly for track use..FWIW

They have a demo test rig with various colour powerflex bushes to see the various effects..the black is so tough that NVH is a serious problem…they say..to emphasise this one if their customers with an M4 came in complaining about NVH having just had powerflex bushes fitted..

I’ve used Conti 3, 5, 5S and now 7 with good results on E89s…

As you say the MP4S is long in the tooth design wise..I’m sure Michelin will respond…the GY Asy 6 is getting very good reviews pushing the MP4S into third place..

I seem to have mixed up my powerflex colours.. just checked... i meant the purple road series not the black track series...

i did not check their website before and wrote as i remembered and for some reason i remembered black being the road series and purple as track series...
I think black is probably going to ruin the car in terms of comfort and noise...
Purple road series is the way to go...
