Z4 ambient air temperature sensor

I've got a P0073 fault code on my 2013 Z4 which indicated I need to change the ambient air temperature sensor, but where is it located?

Does anyone know; my manual is deficient.

Thanks,

Larry

It's located inside the left front fender behind the wheel well shield directly in front of the tire/wheel assembly. you have to remove a bunch of plastic panels to get at it. Real PITA. I recently had some paint work done on the bumper cover, so my paint guy was nice enough to replace it for me while he was in there.

Thanks for the info. You wouldn't have a photo or graphic from a manual?

No, but if you look under the LF bumper in front of the tire, you can see the "needle nose" portion of the sensor protruding from the black plastic under cladding panel.

A quick search turned up this for an E85 (I believe). It's pretty much the same as an E89.

Thanks, again. If it doesn't rain, I'll dig into it tomorrow.
