Lewis went 27 laps on those tires!! Nearly half the race and THEN held off Max in a faster car with tires that were 10 laps newer.

This is GOAT performance!!

Plus leaving whatever added time is cheating schumacher style like he won in the pits at the end of the race.
Newey knew it right away, same way max was sent off from the podium before when he overtook kimi in the ferrari offtrack

Fun race, Max tires evened out some, the advantage was fading. Weird rule, you can go off the track and maybe "gain advantage" as long as you are not passing someone ?

Was happy with Ferrari finish.

and sure you have to have a top driver to win, but put him in Williams or Haas and he aint doin squat. Both good, well 7 championships.

MAX didn’t get a 5 second penalty, he had to give up the position he gained by going outside the white lines.

There a difference.

Faster car, bigger ego = P2
Slower car, better driver = P1

No, my friend. VER was catching him by over .75 seconds per lap. Had Sir Lewis been in the RBR he would have won the race. Just like in the Ferrari in 2017 and 2018.

My friend, had he ignored the Race Control directive he may have been penalized with anything up to a DSQ.

Returning the place was his only option.

Someone’s a little upset today.

If you listened to the race - there isn’t a 5 second penalty in that scenario. It’s give up the position or face further consequences.

I guess the truth hurts, the better driver won today.
