Integrity. The answer is: integrity should be stopping you.

I don't think the 320i is that bad. As they say, it's more fun to drive a slow car fast than it is to drive a fast car slow. It's all relative though. I'm just glad to have a courtesy loaner at no cost! I've gotten an X5 and a 428 before though, and those were a nice.
When I get a loaner I just change the chassis/drivetrain modes so I set the chassis to sport and leave the drivetrain in normal/comfort. Firms up the suspension and steering a bit without having the transmission hold gears forever (I figure I can use sport/manual mode if I wanted to do that). As for driving the hell out of it, I like to drive them quickly at times, but thrashing them around? No thanks. I'd rather not have to pay for any excessive wear and tear or have it affect my insurance were an accident to occur.

No, it isn't. I think the problem with it is that there is no value for what BMW charges for that car. The suspension is soft, the steering sucks, the interior quality isn't that great, the options are pretty non-existent, and the engine is underwhelming relative to other current BMW engines and past BMW engines.
It's just a basic, bland car, which isn't really a problem until you see the sticker price and then compare it to what you'd get from Honda for the same amount of money. |

What does wasting tires gotta do with daddy's money? Tires are consumables. I like to drive hard, and I burn through a set of tires in a month or two. Go on a few track days and you'll find that your tire life is measured in days. Cars are made to be driven!

I guess respect for other people's property isn't something you would learn about mooching off of family money. |

It's hard to take a poster like you seriously when you don't even realize the basics of social etiquette. You even have a list of what I am assuming is your parents cars in your signature. You're basically "that guy".

I've had two M cars in succession from same dealer. The first was a 2012 E92. In the two and a half years of ownership the loaners I was given during services were a 1 series and a 1 series convertible. Both 120d..
Since I have had my M4 (coming up two years) they have always given me M cars (F80 M3 in black and an M4 in grey). Keeps peeps at work talking :P I guess it's a little bit about brand loyalty here.. Service coming up early Oct so I'm going to ask for either M2, M5/6 or M3/4 comp pack. Hopefully they will have a demo one going spare on the day of any of those. Bob |

I leased a 13' 320i Sapphire Black/Black sensatec. No real options - had lighting package. No x-drive. No sunroof, etc.
Was a comfortable daily driver. No problems with it. Was well detailed - had it opticoated in 2014. Took care of it and got $1500 back from dealer when I turned it in at the end of July. Under mileage no dings/dents/scratches/interior wear. Only thing I did was add Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires.

The only conclusions I draw are from the posts you have made in this thread. You talk about "father" getting an angry call as a result of your behavior. That is up to interpretation, not many of which is in your favor. Bragging about damaging other people's property in an excessive manner is yet another indication to the content of your character. If I am wrong on my other assumptions then I am wrong except for the most important part: that you lack the integrity to take responsibility for a specific action you yourself talked about in black and white in this thread. There is no denying the impression you gave in that single post. I made up no stories, all of it is right here for everyone to see, believe me, I don't have to make up anything for everyone to see and judge what type of person you are. The proof is in the pudding; several posts that viewed your actions negatively. Surely I'm not the first nor the last to chastise you here. Alternatively, I, for one, can never claim to be completely innocent of juvenile behavior, although not to the extent to which you described. Nonetheless, you are not the first one to be called out for immaturity. Time will tell if you learn from your mistakes like most of us have. |
