I also had the missing new thread button, but update 7.0.2 fixed that.

I second the comment that there seems to have been no announcement of the whole app update process beginning that at least a forum-only user like me ever saw.

The blank DMs are also now fixed in 7.0.3 send to the App Store today so hopefully will get approved in the next 1-3 days!

Just wanted to note that the 7.0.2 update fixed the mark all threads as read issue. Thanks!

I dont think this problem is related to the new update. But the application does not load and always gives a connection error if im not using a VPN. Im in Kuwait

Another thing I came across recently is Im not able to share pics with other members in private messages. There is no option to attach them 🤷🏻*♂️

That has never been possible, but it’s something I want to add after the new beta site is fully rolled out

Ah ok - still new here after 3 months. Quick random question I’ve been meaning to get an answer on. What is the purpose of all the ranks definitions in people’s bio. I’m assuming maybe they are based on how long you have been on the forums or how many posts you made? But why are we able to change that line if that’s the case? apptest

It is based on how long you’ve been a forum member and how many reputation points you have. It wasn’t user editable in the past, not sure why it is now, but it definitely is.

Tbh it has always been user editable. So you can go with the system ranks or put in your own title in there if you want 👍

Been a member for 20 years, don’t remember having the ability to edit, but TBH, I never tried either.

apptest I cannot login to the app v7.0.4. I go thru the login process and it immediately logs me out.

Do you get any kind of message when it logs you out?

No, it would look like ot signed in normally, but then I would not see my user name at the top right and it would still say to login.
I reset my password on the website yesterday and tried logging into the app and it’s been logged on for about 12hrs now.

I’m having issues with private messages on the app. the displayed list is static, meaning I can select between INBOX and SENT, but the list is the same
Delete all in notifications list no longer deletes the list (RESOLVED, issue only lasted a few hours)
reading new notifications don’t reflect as read (greyed out) after reading them. It stays new (RESOLVED, issue only lasted a few hours)

iOS 7.0.5

I’ve logged out then back in but no change. NOTE I’m not able to see the behavior in the website at this time (to see if it’s different)
