I never threw it away, but I don't wear it anymore as the integrity is supposedly not as good after so many years. I have a newer Shoei that I wear now.

I, too, wear a newer Shoei I purchased a few years ago. I may try an AGV Pista next.

Edit: app won't attach a pic.... Milwaukee 2557 + qty 2 batteries
Maybe premium would have been better than high end. Generally a much nicer built knife with good tolerances and good steel would be a higher end knife to me. A few of the ones I consider high end are just Benchmade or Microtech autos while some of them are fully custom fixed blades or folders.

SOG, ZT and those others are not ones I personally consider higher end.

Are you looking for M12 batteries? If so FB marketplace is good, otherwise I can shoot you some deals when I see them.

OEM Battery

I bit the bullet and replaced the battery in my M235i yesterday. The original battery was almost 8 years old and still cranked pretty well!

Before I purchased the battery I ordered a Carly ODB2 device so I could register the battery my self. Very easy chore.

You know somebody now! I've performed a de-mil (cut straps, drill with hole saw) on *dozens* of Snell helmets in the past, when they have reached the end of their 10-year service life.....

Oh it's a lot smaller than the picture.
Better to have one in the trunk than to need one.

Yeah it fits in the trunk floor storage space. What it doesn't show is it comes with 12 attachments so can be used on everything from a car tyre to a basketball to a lake floaty to a sledding tube. The sledding tube was why i bought it, we have a MASSIVE one that hogs the entire trunk so with this puppy i can squish it down and inflate it on location in 5 minutes.

Picked up a new office chair for my WFH setup. More comfortable and much better built than my old Humanscale chair.

I am going between that and putting it on display in my whiskey room or giving it to someone that doesn't wear helmets (Iowa doesn't require helmets) as I believe they either cannot afford one or would possibly wear one if they could have a "nice" brand to show off... and just let them know it's not perfect but likely better than not wearing one.

You still live in NY so... that's debatable.

Didn't even install my Bower and Wilkins M1 speakers before I returned them and upgraded to Martinlogan Motion series - 8i center, 4i fronts, 2i rears - and also returned the B&W sub for an SVS SB-1000. Wondering if I'll want to upgrade the SVS to something more powerful or not. It's my first 5.1.2, trying to do it justice but also probably won't appreciate anything truly high end yet...

I had to literally wipe the splattered brains of a relative off of their personal effects after a fatal accident because they were wearing an inadequate helmet. Trust me, I don't wish that task on ANYBODY! Even my bicycle helmet is certified by Snell, and I am so perturbed by upstatedoc's indifference to safety that I will gladly pay for a proper helmet just so that his family doesn't have to go through what I did almost 30 years ago.

On a related note, I bought a wooded lot on a motorboat lake down south last year. Every public boat launch around the lake has "Kids Don't Float" life jacket loaner stations, funded/maintained by the regional electric monopoly, the lake association, and several area churches. I joined the lake association just to support this program...and I don't even have kids or own a boat.....

I too am a fan of the large ice cubes, I bought silicone trays and they're quite flexible but the square ones are easier than the round to get out.
