Okay so how badly will Georgia lose to Alabama this weekend? 21-3 Alabama with 1 TD scored off a turnover.
How many turnovers will Alabama defense create? My number is 3 and one will be a tipped pass at the LOS. When will Kirby Smart make a change at QB? I'm guessing second half.

No. There were a couple players accused of sexual assault that O protected, did not report the issue and tried to hide.

Coach Os were from early 2021 so you could say maybe that was the reason, but its not announced until they start out 3-3.

Was glad to see my Cowboys and Gundy finally get past OU. I think Gundy is 3-14 against them. I'm hoping they can beat Baylor again and see if that gets them in the playoffs.
The lady and I are both OSU alum and had season tickets this and likely will next year as well. And we did the season tickets to the private, catered Alum meals before each game that had some pretty impressive food laid out. As well as unlimited beer/wine for the afternoon games, and Mimosas and such for the morning game. I will be curious if they can keep Bowles as our defensive guy. Part of the reason our defense is good this is many our seniors and I believe 9 of the 11 are returning starters. |

It's ironic that our last shot at a title game in 2011 was ALSO ruined by a loss to Iowa State.

I root for UGA but aside from Clemson they haven't been tested all season.

Other than beating Ole Piss same can really be said about Bama. UGA and Bama both beat Arkansas, Florida, Tennessee and Auburn, with Florida and Auburn being .500 teams and both giving Bama close games. Those would be C grades if considered tests. LSU had a pretty down year but another close game. Bama also played TAMU but lost. Who else has tested Bama?

No 1, Unlike UGA, Alabama knows how win in close games. No 2 I also think, unlike other defenses on UGAs schedule, Alabama can employ the same defensive scheme they used against Stetson Bennet last year which got him benched in that game. Bennet is really short so Bama kept him in the pocket with their hands up. Bennet can't make completions if he can't see or his passes keep getting knocked down at the LOS. I suspect a couple of turnovers off tipped passes No 3. The game is kinda irrelevant for UGA. I really don't know if UGA is going to show up for this game. They're guaranteed to make the playoffs and I don't think they believe they can blowout Alabama in order to keep them out of the playoffs. No 4: It is UGA. 3-decades of underperforming is difficult to overcome.

For 3 , I think it is relevant mentally for Georgia to beat Bama and win the SEC (addressing #4). It would also knock Bama out so they wouldn't need to face them again and solidify the #1 seed. Also, they are rolling and it would be much better momentum-wise to beat Bama heading into the playoffs than have a letdown loss. I don't think Bama is at quite the same level this year as last and I think Georgia is as good as they have been in a long time. Can never count Bama out of a big game but, like I said, I'm just not sure Georgia will ever have a better chance than right now.

a 1 loss OkState with back to back wins over top 10 teams is a better resume than georgia with a blowout loss to a top 10 team.

UGA unscathed out of the SEC has to be respected even if it is the east. UGA has wins over Clemson, Arkansas, Kentucky. All 3 are tough teams, 2 steam-rolled by UGA. Its not the toughest of schedules overall but they have been blowing out opponents all season. There hasn't been a real contest since the season opener. The defense is real and the scrambling QB is an SEC senior. UGA should handle Alabama in a close one if its secondary can contain Bama's WRs. If Alabama wins in a close one, the CFP top 4 will be a mess.

Seems like UGA defense stayed in Athens.
