Jakson Browne and the Eagles were friends before their success. Jackson Browne and Glenn Frey lived in the same building for a while before they became famous.
Jackson Browne wrote the beginning of "Take It Easy" in that building on the piano, and Glenn frey finished writing the song, with Jackson Browne's permission, of course. The Eagles recorded it and it was a big hit for them. Jackson Browne recorder it later. Got most of that from an Eagles documentary on HBO. |
