I seems mine has developed the same problem as well. I blame the fact that I am driving alot more sideways with DSC off lately.
I just want understand the solution correctly. Since I am in China, and don't think I can use Ebay, is my only solution to ask BMW to replace the old ones with new OEM bushings? Last edited by Asbjorn; 06-07-2013 at 08:28 AM.. |

I'm starting to get this single metallic clunk sound from the rear right wheel, going over a large (long) speed bump.
I have several speed bumps near my house. Each morning when I go over the first speed bump, the clunk is observed. But there's no clunk in any subsequent speed bumps. I can only reproduce the clunk again over any speed bump the next day (after leaving it in the garage overnight). Does this sound like any of your symptoms? Does this adversely affect anything if left untreated (i.e. replace bushing)? I only have 17k miles on the odo. |

I'd consider having This rear end expert come over to help. Nuff said.

Update: dealer finally diagnosed issue with EDC strut, and after replacement (under warranty) the thunk is cured. My car has the adaptive suspension from M Sport pkg.
