Watched SUPERMAN.
It had its moments. I definitely prefer Zach Snyder's version! There was far too much "silliness" for my tastes. The character who stole the show for me was Mr Terrific. 3/5 UNTIL DAWN - My kind of movie. Holds true to the phenomenal Playstation Game. 4.5/5

Saw Naked Gun today. Could have done without all the (unnecessary) crotch humor, but it was entertaining enough. The sight gags were pretty good, and all over the place. IMHO, the plot was pretty thin. I think the originals were better.

I get the sense this guy doesn't like it. And watching this review I think I'll wait until I hear more reviews.

What striking is that a Yaphet Kotto lookalike, the simple good chap in Alien, is the Captain in this one, a synthetic that pilots this ship to get the captured species to this mysterious 'Weyland' firm, the species are suddenly breaking free from their glass encapsules and killing the crew with the ship shortly crashing into another ship sending it on a course to earth. I'm seing it anyway when it gets to the big screen whatever the reviews. Last edited by M5Rick; 08-18-2025 at 07:57 AM.. |

If Alien Earth is happening two years before the Nostromo incident it means Ripley and co have already left earth for Thedus and have no idea what's happening back home.
