I confess that it makes me cackle like a child when one of my ex-lovers calls after over four months of no contact, and when a return call is made, she proceeds to tell me it was an "accident" and my number wasn't saved on her phone (….soooooo, how did you 'butt dial' me then?!?). The call was ended promptly, but now she's texting. Thirty minutes into the conversation I'm learning she's having issues with her current dude. Uhhhhh yeah. She just wanted to re-engage because she's likely on the outs with him.

You may be right. She asked my why I didn't stop by. She goes on to say her current boyfriend is in the process of buying a home and he has made no mention of her and her two kids moving in with him. Apparently her lease is up in December or January and he stays with her a few nights a week. It sounds to me like he has his exit planned. He just needs to rest his head for a few more months.

I have a confession, I feel very sad. Had to find out from a friend that my ex-best female friend got engaged to her douchenozzle BF over the weekend.
I had to write her off from my life bc she was being mentally, financially abused and wouldnt do anything about it.

Losing her as a friend was very hard but I couldn't stand by and watch it all. I called him out on it and he ensued to give her ultimatums about being my friend or being with him.

It is what it is, just very sad to me to see people in abusive situations. Thank god its not physical abuse or he would be in the Gulf with a cinder block around her ankles.

I'm over feeling like crap. Started with this sinus junk almost 2 weeks ago. Been on Augmentin for 7 days, had a Celestone shot, been taking Mucinex D almost every day and just over it. I haven't been able to work out. I planted 8 flats of flowers today & turned the mulch in the beds which wore me out. We're supposed to go our friends in a few minutes to eat Indian. I have zero desire to be social or drink and want to lay on my couch and go to sleep. Bitching over.

I find that my steaming hot showers clear out the sinuses and the boogers. It's an interesting phenomenon really.
