OK, let me get this straight. Keeping the hard top, getting rid of the in line 6 that has proven itself over and over for a measly 4 cylinder and a dual mouse fly wheel? BMW is going backwards on this car.
1. Get rid of the hard top crap, its a rag top car. 2. Put one awesome motor in it not two. 3. Fix the rear end, it's too fat. 4. Make a M Model 5. Call me when all the above happens. Happy Motoring.

I've actually heard that in 2007, people were able to purchase their almost fully optioned M coupes for less than 45,000. Definitely a car whose production ultimately exceeded its demand.

You have no idea how many times I've heard that about the garage. It's my gf's moms house (and stepdad). The stupid thing is it USED to be a 2 car garage before he took it over and built some stupid desk so he can work on his bike (bicycle not a motor bike). And all his crap is on the other side so now it's a 1 car garage. If you think that ceiling is bad you should see the rest :s
Thanks for the compliment though Wet sanding and buffing sounds like either it'll be expensive or if I attempted it I'd screw it up royally |

So.....the new base engine is 240HP instead of 255HP? I guess the new engine is lighter.....but you are loosing 15 HP.....how is this better performance? Just asking.

Its still a 4 cyc. I don't care how much extra stuff you put on it, it still don't beat displacement.
If I wanted a car with a 4 banger I would have bought a Honda.
