Doubtful, unless you are at a big track. The GT3 RS version is going to drive like a jackhammer compared to a road-going M3. If we were talking regular GT3 or GTS, then probably. Day to day an M3 is probably a lot better to live with. Again, GTS or something would probably stomp it, but when you get to such race-focused cars, you are making big compromises.

Waaaaaay too much in the visual department. I'm sure everything is fully functional, but probably the ugliest RS ever designed. I maintain that the 997.2 GT3RS was the best-looking Porsche ever, although the 991.2 GT3/RS isn't far behind that.

That's why they make the Turbo S, this is a track tool and should be viewed as one. I'm just waiting for my allocation on this thing. God damn I can't imagine what it's gonna look like in a different color.

The 992 GT3 looks like what an RS used to look like, and this new GT3RS looks like a Cup car with plates.
They had to go super aggressive on aero and race car engineering for the street cars cos the competition has gotten that much better and they need it to maintain their lead. I don't deny they will be fast as hell but comfort will be compromised. |

This is like the McLaren Senna, form follows function. Not beautiful, but very functional on track.

looks like it'll be a riot on track. just wish they could have given customers a new engine for the 992. like maybe bump it up to 4.2 at least.
I found this part very interesting: Quote:

Unless you seriously plan to use it as a pure track car, the “plain” 992 GT3 is the much better choice.

What a loss it will be when Andreas Preuninger retires (I'm assuming it will be in the near future, as the 911 will inevitably become hybridized).
