New prospective Z4 owner/driver.
I currently have a 2010 370Z with both the touring and sport options. I test drove the BMW on a whim and was incredibly and pleasantly shocked! |

The same iDrive as we all have. As to what it can do, basics are Nav, Hard Disk music, general car configuration, tone controls, BMW Online, perhaps internet etc, depends on the spec of your car. Find the cars VIN number and enter it into the online BMW vin decoder to see what extras it might have...

Lurked around here for a few weeks and decided to register. I just recently purchased a 2009 z4 35i about 3 weeks ago. Up until then I had only ever owned Dodge Challengers. 3 of them actually, and traded in a 2012 SRT8 on this BMW. So far I am extremely happy with the decision, this is a much better car on every level. Just like most enthusiasts I have the mod bug, so I'm already looking at some mods. I'm going to be purchasing some APEX ARC-8 wheels (they seem to be really popular but they're my favorite that I've found by far) and definitely want to get a custom exhaust. I put borla exhausts on my Challengers, so I have to find something I like on the BMW. I've searched around for exhaust options, and haven't made up my mind yet.
This seems like a great board and I'm happy to be a part of it. Here are some pics of my new z4 |

Owner of a 2011 Z4 35i since Sunday. Still a owner of a 2011 328xi but the car kept a void in my heart. Should have gotten the z back in 2011. I was impatient and took delivery of what was available. Noob to the BMW world back then but definitely realized the need for a 35 engine.
Here are some pics; getting the tints tomorrow from TheTintShop at Great Neck. |

Nooby here, I just picked up my 1st BMW 2013 Z4 35i DCT Atacama Yellow on Wednesday. i was told it was one of only four still left in the US. The day I picked it up all you could see on the BMW website was the Orange 2014's no more yellow. Still learning, trying to learn what not to do so I don't bend it or break it :~)

Picking up our new Black Sapphire/Canyon Brown M-Sport Z4 2.8i in two weeks. This will be our third Z4, after a 2005 & 2008.
Went to our dealer last week looking to replace our 328i with a 535xi and left with a Z4. Yeah I know it is no where near practical. But here is the problem, after owning a Z4 from 2005 until 2010, we have been suffering from severe withdrawal for a couple of years. Just like a recovering smoker who can't be around other smokers; it is difficult to drive pass another Z4 and not remember all the wonderful memories that we made in that car. So here we are, family of 4 with 2 cars, a 2013 328xi & a 2013 Z4 2.8, and my wife and i wouldn't have it any other way |

Hi Folks,
I just picked up a 2011 Titanium Silver 2011 Z4 35 is and I am having a ball enjoying my ,I think this is, my third childhood!! I am 70 and this is my second Z4 the first was a 2007 3.0 that I thoroughly enjoyed. This seems to be quite a different car ,but I haven't had it long enough to tell yet. I enjoy the forum and appreciate the camaraderie and information provided here. Regards Pete V |

Hello, already posted a couple of times here. Currently own a 2010 335i x-drive. My wife has a 2013 X-3.
I love my 335 but got in a couple of accidents late last year (neither one was my fault) and was not interested to keep the car no matter how good the repairs appear to be. At first thought I would just get another 335 but don't like the new F30's near as much. A buddy of mine says "You've already got the X-3 why not go for the roadster." I had never thought about a convertible. I went and test drove one and was hooked. I've got a Valencia Orange w/ Black Top 35is on order for an ED. Just waiting on our pick-up date. Hopefully early June. |

Hi all,
Looking at new or late model Z4 35i optioned to same as 35is except 18" wheels. Will swap out Bridgestone RFs for Michelin Pilot Super Sports for softer ride/better handling. With slightly less insanity under the hood than the 35is, I figure the 35i should be just about right. Any ideas? |
