New fascia is a non-starter. Very typical of overstated designs coming out of the Hartge and AC Schnitzer shops. Not that they're all bad, but they're working too hard to improve on the e89's lines.
Last two wheel sets are pretty good. They look somewhat similar to one of the stock M3 designs which are pretty good IMO. The rear windscreen is great. |

Hmmmm.... perhaps if the fins in the front side vent were eliminated it might look cleaner! Agree with most of the sentiments but no one thinks the rear bar above the numberplate looks somewhat "amuse"ing? Just think of the e92 trunks!

I like the gray wheels and the glass wind screen. Other than that it's a waste of time. As I suggested above, it's really hard for these guys to improve on an already outstanding design without mucking it up in the process. |

I like it a lot!
Very aggressive, HARTGE has done a great job of crafting an exterior which befits the performance traits of this car! |

IMHO, they have a tough job on their hands with the new Z4. It's a very... umm... stylized car - a sort of combination of lines and shapes that only really work when they're together. Start messing around with any on part of it and things go a bit awry. Even the 's' models by bmw themselves look a bit wried for some reason.
The vents in the front bumper are something that - imo - don't fit very well in the whole thing to start with anyway. Sticking in vertical vanes/slats there just confuses things too much. In the quiet words of the VM: "If it ain't broke...." |
