Squeaky Window and Window Seal
My driver's side window squeaks when it enters the window seal. I tried wiping the inside of the squeaky part of the seal with water. That would stop the squeaking, but it would resume after I raise the window a couple of times. I also tried pushing on that inside part of the seal with my finger, but that would also just temporarily stop the squeaking.
Did anyone else have this problem with their window and window seal? If so, then how did you fix it? |

I had this problem with my S2000 and the cure is a grease called 'Shinetsu Grease' and it's available from Honda dealerships. It is basically a silicone grease.
I don't have the part number to hand but it works a treat. I will update the post when I get the tube back from my Dad |

BMW sells a special product for rubber components. it makes a huge difference when applied to the areas you're talking about. I used it on my 1 series and it smooth things up a lot. great product.

Gummi Pflege is good for the soft rubber seals.
http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Gummi+Pflege My right hand side rear window used to squeak/rattle a while ago and I found that by tapping the window button down to drop it a couple of mm sorted it. Now I have all 4 windows fully up and all is fine. I think weather/temperature is a real factor.

I think gummi pflege is either petroleum or paraffin based, not silicon. I could be wrong.
