Windshield Washer Nozzles Still on the Hood of the New Z4 - GADS!
Some of the spy photos of the new Z4 show that the windshield washer nozzles are still mounted as black plastic bumps on the hood.
I'm no engineer but ask BMW: Why not integrate heated windshield washer nozzles within the wiper assemblies to preserve the sleekness of the Z4 designer's hood? It's a simple suggestion worth considering for future versions of the BMW Z4. Anyone agree with me? |

That doesn't really bother me too much it's just two small little plastic bumps but yea it'd be smoother overall if they integrate heated windshield washer nozzles into the wipers. Maybe they did it because to replace all the fancier wipers under warranty would be more expensive.

Hmmm, I would also prefer a nice clean hood to be honest (or bonnet as we say in the UK ). Maybe the final product will have them hidden away.

On my existing Z4, the washer nozzles pop off the hood easily. If you really wanted a custom look, they could be relocated with minimal effort.
Myself, I got a can of paint-match TiAg and sprayed them silver and clear coat, not they just look like humps on the hood instead of black plastic dots on a silver surface. |
