The most interesting thing about the new Z4 is not the fact that it will get the new M3v8 but that it will also receive the new improved 3.0TwinTurbo unit with 325hp and 325ft/lbs. This version will be as quick if not quicker than the current Z4M but at a fraction of the price, plus it will also receive the new sport diff from the X6 (advanced electronic LSD).
I reckon you could be looking at the performance bargain of 2010. |

Has it been comfirmed that it is getting the TT engine? I didn't think so.

Yeah, but if they truly drop the 4.0L from the M3 it will smoke anything and everything in the entire BMW range, and with a M-DCT will probably hit 0-60 in under 4.0sec

referance speculation
i have a bit of a query. bmw as of april this year according to my dealer here in europe stopped production of the current z4. where the new z4 is due to be unvailed to dealers in september following this a public showing of the car will happen later this year with the car availible to buy from march as dealers are already excepting deposits based on this. i would just want to know if theres any further clarification on what ive heard. thanks
