Car value with one accident on record
Greetings all,
Curious to get your thoughts on purchasing a 2009 e89 with 52,000 miles. Its been very well kept and garaged, but has one accident/collision on record where airbags deployed (frame was not bent and no salvage record). How much of a hit would you think it would take in value today? Thanks for your insights! |

I had an incident with my 2014 35is. Front bumper wiped out and headlight. Seatbelt replace also. Totaled the car i hit. Boy is the Z4 strong. Titanium Bumper. No hood damage.Just bumper and headlight. I had the car fixed in less than a week and sold it because the car fax would have killed me.

I personally think it takes a 10% to 20% drop in valve. There are plenty of well kept, accident free Z4s out there.
