2016 E89 Alarm triggered after convenient closing
Last week I bought a beautiful 35i with only 22K miles
I love it apart from this annoying issue... It appears there is an issue with my convenient closing function in my car. When I use convenient closing by holding the lock button on the key fob, the car locks, windows close and mirrors fold. However, after 10 seconds, the alarm system will start blaring and flashing. I am parked on a flat surface in my garage and this issue is 100% reproducible anywhere. When I do a regular lock (quick press lock on key fob) the car locks with no issue and the alarm is armed but does not go off unless I purposefully set it off. This kind of ruins the whole convenience part of convenient closing. Has anyone experienced something like this or have any suggestions? |

Yeah, thats what I'm going to do...
Funny enough I was there yesterday for a full inspection and they said the car was pristine. Now I find this out so I'm going back At least I'm still under original warranty |
